How far is the resort from the beach?

NIRVANA Club village is located directly on the beach. The farthest room is less than 250 meters from the beach. All of our services are distributed between the rooms and the beach.

What kinds of board options does the resort offer?

The main board basis at Nirvana is full board, but during low season (June, July and September), the resort also offers half board or bed & breakfast.

When and how do check-in and check-out work?

Check-in is from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 10:00 am on the day of departure.

Stays include lunch on the day of arrival and breakfast on the day of departure.

If our guests arrive at the property before 4:00 pm on the day of arrival, we will do our best to provide you with your room quickly. On the day of departure, room keys and remote controls must be handed back by 10:00 am. However, management can provide you with a day use room on request, so you can enjoy the last day of your vacation.

What does the resort’s full board package include?

NIRVANA offers unique services compared to other resorts in the same category or higher.

The hotel’s full board package includes 2 pasta or risotto dishes and 2 meat and fish entrees for both lunch and dinner, table service, drinks and refills, including water, wine and soft drinks (Coke – Orange soda – Gassosa soda), as well as a rich buffet with fresh vegetables, side dishes, appetizers, fresh fruit and desserts. Breakfast is also included in the price.

An entertainment staff will be ready to entertain guests at any time of the day, from morning to evening.

Our polite and respectful entertainers will be there to entertain you with games, contests and dancing for both adults and children, in a fun and pleasant environment. A beach umbrella, sun lounger and deck chair (starting from the second row) are included in the price of each room. Many of the facility’s activities are included in the price, except for private lessons and kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing, SUP and paddle boat equipment rentals.

When is the restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

Meals are served at specific limited times, in order to allow our staff to carry out their services as best possible. Breakfast is served from 07:45 to 09:30 am, lunch from 1:00 to 2:30 pm and dinner from 8:00 to 9:30 pm.

Does the resort have apartments?

NIRVANA is a tourist resort, therefore it does not have apartments or bungalows. It does however have independent rooms with a private bathroom and all the comforts of a hotel.

Do the rooms have air conditioning?

The rooms are equipped with an inverter central air conditioning system, with independent temperature control for each room.

Do the rooms have a television?

All of our rooms have a flat screen LED Color TV.

Do the rooms have a mini fridge or a mini bar?

All rooms are equipped with a mini fridge. They do not have a mini bar, nor are they stocked daily with food or drinks.

Do the rooms have a telephone?

Each room has its own private telephone, to make calls within the resort (to other rooms or to the reception), as well as external calls.

What are the beach and sand like?

The NIRVANA Club Village beach is a private area that is reserved for the exclusive use our guests. The sand is very light in color and is fine-grained (although not too fine), so it’s easy to walk upon and doesn’t stick to your skin as often happens on beaches with a very fine, floury sand.

What is the water like and how deep is the sea?

The sea is blue, clear and mostly crystalline.

The sea deepens gently, but rapidly. At a distance of 5 meters from the shore, the water is shallow enough to touch the bottom, but after 10/15 meters, the water becomes too deep to touch the bottom. Nevertheless, the coast is varied, and you will find different types of seabeds and some shoals in the virgin areas surrounding the village.

Is there a guarded parking area inside the resort?

There is free parking inside the resort, although it is not guarded.

How do I book a front row beach umbrella?

Front row umbrellas are reserved for Superior Rooms, although we also allow our guests to book a spot in the front row when available. The cost of the service is € 15 per day and includes an umbrella in the front row (closest to the beach) with 2 sun loungers.

What is the Tessera Club card and what does it include?

The Tessera Club is a personal card that is required for all of our guests to access the resort’s amenities and activities. The cost of the card is € 6 per person per day and is free for children up to the age of 5.

The services included in the Tessera Club card are: entertainment and recreational activities for adults and children, games on the beach, sports tournaments and shows, access to the tennis and bocce ball courts, the soccer field, swimming pool, playground and the resort’s beach amenities.

The Tessera Club may also be used as a prepaid rechargeable card. You can use it to purchase food or drinks at the bar or any other product within the resort.

Can I bring my pets on vacation?

Animals are welcome at NIRVANA. We accept cats and dogs, as well as other small and medium-sized pets, although we ask that you respect the comfort and freedom of other guests. Pets must be kept on a leash and may not enter the common areas such as the restaurant, bar and pool. They may wait outside the bar and pool area, and may enter the gardens and the green outdoor areas of the resort. If there are no complaints from any of the other guests, you can bring your pet friends to the beach for a swim. The total price for the service and final cleaning/disinfection is € 80.

How do the beach umbrellas work? Does everyone have access to one?

Guests are free to choose their umbrellas every day from the second row onwards. The first row is reserved for the Superior Rooms or for other guests who have reserved first row umbrellas in advance.

Every day you may choose whichever spot you prefer from the ones available. Each room has access to a beach umbrella, a sun lounger and a deck chair.

Can I reserve an umbrella and loungers on the beach?

In addition to allowing you to choose your umbrella spot every day, NIRVANA Club Village offers you the opportunity to reserve your spot on the beach for an additional fee and with limited availability.

Each room can reserve its spot under the following conditions: a front row spot with 1 beach umbrella and 2 sunbeds costs € 15 per day, while a second row spot with 1 beach umbrella, 1 sun lounger and 1 deck chair costs € 7 per day.

How often is linen changed?

Bed linen is changed once a week on Wednesdays or Thursdays, depending on the availability and delivery of linen, while towels may be changed every day. We kindly ask our guests to be mindful of the environment and to help us reduce water consumption, by not leaving towels on the floor and changing them every day unless strictly necessary.

What activities are there for children and what is the difference between the Junior and Mini Clubs?

The entertainment team offers a Mini Club service for children ages 3 to 9 and a Junior Club service for children ages 10 to 15. Teens from the age of 16 generally participate in adult activities and tend to form groups with other peers within the resort.

All the activities take place in the playground, at the beach, in the pool, in the amphitheater or in other recreational spaces.

The Junior and Mini Club’s main hours are: from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the morning and from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the afternoon. There is Baby Dance event is every evening in the amphitheater–discotheque, for children and adults alike to enjoy an evening dancing.

Does the resort have a pool?

Among its various sports facilities, the NIRVANA resort also features a swimming pool that is about 60 square meters and is suitable for both adults and children. Swimming caps are required before entering the pool. There are also free beach umbrellas and deck chairs in the pool area.

What is the “Biberoneria” service?

The Biberoneria is a NIRVANA Club Village baby-feeding station for babies and children up to the age of 3. It consists of access to a private dining area where someone from our staff will be on hand to help parents prepare their children’s meals at fixed times. Lunch is from 12:00 to 12:45 pm and dinner is from 7:00 to 7:45 pm. The baby-feeding kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, with a wide variety of food provided by the structure such as: vegetable broth, tomato and vegetable purees, baby pasta, grated cheese, baby cheese, olive oil, white meat, cooked ham, fresh fruit and milk. (Homogenized baby food products and baby milk are not available).

The cost of the Biberoneria Service is € 20 per day and is mandatory, even for children eating regular restaurant meals who do not use the baby-feeding station.

What does the Celiachia Ad Hoc service offer?

NIRVANA is specialized in the preparation of gluten-free dishes. Our restaurant menu always offers gluten-free dishes for guests with special dietary needs.

We pay careful attention to the preparation and ingredients of dishes for celiac guests, using specific ingredients such as gluten-free pasta, flour and grated bread – just like you would back home.

The basic gluten-free products that are available at our resort are bread, crackers, pasta, rusks and breakfast cookies. The bar also offers gluten-free ice cream.

The NIRVANA restaurant’s gluten-free menu at is the same as the daily menu served to other customers. The only difference is in the use of gluten-free products, which are prepared and served by taking all of the necessary precautions.

We do however ask that guests with special dietary needs be careful with the selection of dishes at the buffet and ask the servers information about the various ingredients and preparation.

To make sure your dietary needs are met, we recommend that you request the Celiachia Ad Hoc service when booking.

Does the property offer a Transfer or Shuttle service?

NIRVANA Club Village uses an external company for its Transfer/Shuttle service from the airports and nearby train stations. We offer our guests the possibility to book a Transfer/Shuttle through our booking office. Just let us know your arrival and departure times and destination.

The one-way transfer rates are as follows:

Lamezia Terme Airport or Train Station (about 70 Km away), € 75 for 1 to 3 people + € 6 for each additional passenger.
Crotone Airport (about 26 Km away), € 30 for 1 to 3 people + € 5 for each additional passenger.
Crotone Train Station (about 40 Km away), € 45 for 1 to 3 people + € 5 for each additional passenger.
Catanzaro lido Train Station (about 30 Km away), € 35 for 1 to 3 people + € 5 for each additional passenger.
Botricello Train Station (about 5 Km away), € 15 for 1 to 3 people + € 5 for each additional passenger.

The prices shown above are for one-way transfers and must be reserved when booking your stay.

Please remember to give the reception your flight or train time and number, as well as a cell phone number, if you haven’t done so already. The Transfer/Shuttle fare must be paid directly to the person conducting the service.

The prices shown above include VAT and are for one-way transfers. A night rate is applied to transfers between 11:00 pm and 5:30 am, with a 30% increase in price. All transfers are conducted in air-conditioned vehicles and Gran Turismo minibuses and buses.

Is there a doctor at the resort?

Given the size of the resort, it is not mandatory to have a fixed medical facility within the property, which however is equipped with an infirmary for our guests.

There is also an Emergency Medical Unit for Tourists in the nearby towns, available on weekdays from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am and on public holidays from 10:00 am to 8:00 am the following morning.

The closest hospital is the Ciaccio Presidio “De Lellis” Hospital in Catanzaro, about 40 km from NIRVANA Club Village.

In the nearest town, Botricello, there are also 3 medical clinics with primary care physicians.

Are there annoying insects in the resort?

The resort is nestled in a garden overlooking the sea, surrounded by endless beauty and nature. However, there are no annoying insects at NIRVANA. We conduct pest exterminations every year and are not subject to most insect and mosquito problems.

Is the property equipped to accommodate disabled guests?

The property does not have rooms specifically equipped for guests with disabilities, although we do have a room equipped with a bathroom for the disabled.

NIRVANA Club Village has no architectural barriers: the property is distributed across a flat surface, and directly overlooks the beach. The restaurant is located on the ground floor, as is the breakfast room. An assigned beach umbrella is accessible via a walkway.

Does the property have Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available to all guests in the public areas, reception, bar, amphitheater, pool and some areas of the beach.

How do I make a reservation?

How do I confirm a reservation?

Your reservation is considered confirmed once you make a 30% advance deposit of the total amount with your preferred method of payment (Wire Transfer, Credit Card or even cash). Once you’ve paid, we simply ask you to notify us by sending an email to our Booking Office.

Is there travel insurance or can I cancel a reservation?

NIRVANA Club Village has a special cancellation policy. No reservation fee will be deducted if you are forced to cancel your stay.

In case of cancellation due to a reasonable cause, the property will convert your deposit into a Vacation Coupon to be used during a different period or for your vacation the following year. There are no extras charges when you book and the Vacation Coupon will be worth the full amount of your initial reservation.

When do I have to pay the balance due for my stay?

The balance due must be paid at check-in when you arrive at the resort. You can choose from different payment methods: Bank Check, Bank Transfer, Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard), Cash or PayPal (if you select this payment method you will have to pay the fees required by the online service).

What is the weather like during summer?

The climate is mild and dry, ideal for a vacation by the sea. NIRVANA’s geographical location at the center of the Squillace Gulf, where according to an ancient saying “the wind never ceases”, is characterized by a cool breeze on hot summer days. Thanks to the dry climate, which is never humid, guests can enjoy sunbathing or diving in the sea. It’s also the ideal place for sports lovers to enjoy kite surfing, sailing or windsurfing. During the day, the climate is warm and fairly windy, with cool and pleasant evenings.

Are there any places that are worth visiting near the resort?

The nearest town is Botricello, just 4 kilometers away. The most picturesque place to visit in the area is certainly Le Castella, an ancient fisherman village overlooking the sea with an Aragonese fortress built on the water.

Le Castella is full of local shops and is only 12 km from NIRVANA Club Village. Other beautiful places worth visiting are certainly Isola di Capo Rizzuto with its historical remains, Santa Severina with its magnificent castle, but also Sila Piccola with its fantastic waterfalls and natural rock canyons.
